Meet Barrend Cathline, Ex Paratrooper and Online Personal Trainer
My passion for fitness, nutrition, and healthy living has shaped my life from an early age. Today, I help people—particularly those over 40—build strength, improve fitness, and regain confidence through practical, sustainable coaching.
A qualified personal trainer since 2019, I combine professional expertise in fitness, sports injuries, and nutrition with a unique military background. As a former Paratrooper, I served in the Falklands War as a teenager, fighting at Goose Green and Wireless Ridge. Those experiences taught me discipline, resilience, and mental toughness—qualities that continue to influence my approach to coaching.
As a second-generation member of the Windrush generation with Ghanaian and Trinidadian heritage, I value perseverance, community, and personal growth.
Having also experienced the challenges of PTSD, I understand first-hand the powerful connection between physical health and mental well-being.
My coaching is straightforward, supportive, and results-focused. Whether you're returning to fitness, overcoming setbacks, or looking to improve your health, I'm here to help you build lasting strength, confidence, and healthier habits.
